Robotics Club

The Robotics Club of AVCOE strives to stimulate interest in robotics among the students of the institute. Besides making a serious venture to spread knowledge on Robotics and its diverse applications, it will be exemplary virtue comprising every learning and curious faculty and students. AVCOE Robotics club is part e-yantra robotics lab initiative by IIT Powai, Mumbai and Industrial robotics lab, department of Production Engg.,

Salient features of e-Yantra Lab, IIT Bombay: http://portal.e-yantra.org

  • An initiative by IIT Bombay that aims to create the next generation of embedded systems engineers with a practical outlook to help provide practical solutions to some of the real world problems.
  • e-yantra is sponsored by MHRD under the National Mission on Education through ICT program.
  • eLSI (e-yantra Lab Setup Initiative) by IIT Bombay provides guidance and support for the establishment of the e-yantra robotics Lab and also help in the training of students with live projects.
  • Under this initiative students of all disciplines of AVCOE will be able to join e-yantra Symposium (eYS) which is held in IIT Bombay every year.

Salient features of Industrial robotics lab, Production Engg. Dept. Avcoe

  • A lab to promote experiential learning in industrial robot programming and automation.
  • Students can explore their robot programming skills and do their academic projects on Industrial Robot Arm ABB1410
  • Extraordinary benefits for the students of engineering to develop their practical skills and strengthen their foundation by participating in various Robotics Competition
  • The Robotics Club empowers interested students with resources to build robots for fun and competition, remove barriers from entry into robotics and create a path to success.
