Amrutvahini College of Engineering 2018-05-03

IIT Bombay has taken an initiative and set up a Robotics Lab in department of Production Engineering of Amrutvahini College of Engineering, Sangamner. The Robotics Lab inaugurated on 3rd May 2018 in a virtual conference mode jointly by the institute officials and the e-Yantra team of IIT Bombay. After the address by e-Yantra Team the valedictory function was held to distribute certificates to the AVCOE e-Yantra team members. Earlier AVCOE e-Yantra team members successfully completed 3 months of Task Based Training (TBT).

Salient features of e-Yantra Lab, IIT Bombay:

  • A lab to promote experiential learning in Embedded Systems and Robotics Technology.
  • An initiative by IIT Bombay that aims to create the next generation of embedded systems engineers with a practical outlook to help provide practical solutions to some of the real world problems.
  • Extraordinary benefits for the students of engineering to develop their practical skills and strengthen their foundation for better success in future.
  • e-yantra is sponsored by MHRD under the National Mission on Education through ICT program.
  • eLSI (e-yantra Lab Setup Initiative) by IIT Bombay provides guidance and support for the establishment of the e-yantra robotics Lab and also help in the training of students with live projects.
  • Under this initiative students of all disciplines of Amrutvahini College of Engineering will be able to join e-yantra Symposium (eYS) which is held in IIT Bombay every year.
  • Students can explore their robot programming skills at AVCOE e-yantra Robotics Lab

Robotics Club - Amrutvahini College of Engineering

A Robotics Club comprising faculty and student members is formed which enables club members to undertake various projects on Fire Bird V robotic platform, ABB industrial robot arm and GUI dexterous arm

The club will encourage the enrolled students to participate in e-Yantra Robotics Competition and e-Yantra Summer Internship Program at IIT, Mumbai, through our e-yantra robotics nodal center

The Robotics Club empowers interested students with resources to build robots for fun and competition, remove barriers from entry into robotics and create a path to success.

Students from all the disciplines of Engineering are welcome to be part of the Robotics Club.
