The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 1986 with an initial intake of 60 students , which was increased to 120 in the academic year 2012–2013. The department has been accredited four times by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.
The overall goal of the department is to nurture brilliant, dynamic engineers equipped to meet modern industrial and technological challenges
To serve the needs of society through competent technical education, promoting Industry-Institute Interaction and develop competent and cultured computer Engineers.
M1: The Mission of computer Engineering Department is to effectively develop and channelize creative talents of students to face challenges posed by ever- changing computing industry with enhancement in Industry-Institute interaction.
M2: We, the faculty & the staff of Computer Engineering department commit ourselves to inculcate good moral values and shape a strong academic background of the pupil so important to work towards the betterment of the society as able technocrats & responsible citizens.
Team Trytech second prize winner of Rs 30,000/- in TechPragyan 2K25 National Level Hackathon
Girl team participated in final round of the SheInspires Women's Hackathon 2025, organized by Zensar & AWS on 20th-21st March 2025 at MIT ADT University & Zensar Campus, Pune.
Mastersoft secured 4th rank in the 24-hour National Level Hackathon - MegaHack 5.0 held at St. John College of Engineering and Management, Palghar.
Team Corex bagged Second Prize of Rs. 75000/- in PU Code Hackathon 2.0 orgaanized by Parul University, Gujrat
Team Captivators 3.0 bagged First Prize of Rs. 1 Lakh in Smart India Hackathon 2024 organized by Government of India
Vishal Wandekar received the first prize of three lakh rupees in the UNESCO India-Africa hackathon 2022, a team member of the Smart India Hackathon 2022 winning team.
