Department of Computer Engineering
Department of Computer Engineering was started in 1986 with the intake of 60 and intake is increased to 120 from the academic year 2012-2013.Department has completed its silver jubilee. The department is twice accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi and third time NBA visit over by 20th Jan 2013. The department has introduced with ME (Computer Engineering) in the year 2010 with the intake of 18. Department has excellent infrastructure and human resources to cater both of these courses.
The department has well qualified and experienced staff. We have excellent results and placements. The department is enriched with the laboratories of de facto standards. The laboratories are equipped with various latest software and latest hardware configurations. The available licensed softwares are Rational Rose, 3D Max V3 and V7, Visual Studio 6.0, Oracle10g, Linux, Novell Netware, Windows 2003 server, Windows XP,Windows 7,Quick heal Antivirus, MacAfee Antivirus, Microsoft Office 2007 etc. Department has 205 computers with latest configuration and 20 peripherals to fulfill the students requirements with the LAN and 10 Mbps of internet connectivity laid across the campus with Wi-Fi.Students are trained in Computer Programming for engineering applications to meet the IT Industry challenges.

The department also has “Departmental Library” for the departmental students having reference as well as text books. The library also contains different reference project as well as seminar reports. The department is also providing LCD and projector facility for the effective teaching.
Keeping in consideration students overall development the department has undertaken various personality development courses and various value added courses with certification by reputed industry people. The courses are,

Department focuses on making the student enough competent to get placed in well known companies. ACES (Association of Computer Engineering Students) is the student association, which looks into the various co-curricular activities in the department. The department arranges various expert lectures, educational visits, programming contest for students. Department also runs CSI student chapter under the CSI Nasik Chapter. The overall goal of the department is to make brilliant and dynamic students to meet the industry challenges.
